Description

Written to be pasted. Cut freely; no approval needed.

One-liner

58 characters

You never attack the other player. You send them monsters.

Short

220 characters

Gather by day, hold the line at night, and when holding isn't enough, spend a card to push monsters into a rival's rift instead of fighting them yourself. A survival / tower-defense / deckbuilding hybrid for 1–4 players.

Fits Steam's 300-character short-description limit.

Long

852 characters

Demonic Defense is four games running on one clock. You are a survivor in a cold open field with an axe, a campfire and a hand of cards. By day you chop, mine and build. At night the rifts open and the legion comes. The fire has to be fed or you freeze. The walls have to hold or you lose. And the whole time, up to three other players are doing the same thing in their own arenas — and every attack card you own points at them. There is no duel in this game. What you do instead is spend a card to push monsters out of their rift, in their arena, on their night. Cast at range for mana and the monsters arrive right now; walk to your own fire and burn the card instead and it costs heat, it's exhausted for good, it's stronger, and its monsters queue into their next night's legion. Every card in your hand is two decisions, and you cannot make both.

Key features

  • Survival, tower defense and deckbuilding running on one day/night clock
  • You never attack another player — you spend cards to feed their rifts
  • Every card casts two ways: mana at range for tempo, heat at your fire for power
  • No-menu base building, from wall corners up to a tier-5 moat
  • 8 heroes with their own 10-rung weapon and 7-rung armor tracks
  • Ranked 1v1 and 2v2, free-for-all and teams, over Steam or LAN with no port forwarding
  • A free 50-Depth solo campaign, roguelite Arena runs and 2-player co-op
  • Bots trained by self-play, not hand-tuned difficulty numbers

Logos & capsules

The mark is a campfire with demon eyes in the flame, drawn on a 32×32 grid and scaled nearest-neighbour. Please don't rescale it with smoothing — it's pixel art and it blurs badly.

Video & monetisation policy

Yes, in advance

You may record, stream and monetise any footage of Demonic Defense, including the full game start to finish, on any platform, forever. No revenue share, no separate licence, no notification needed. That permission covers this build and every future one.

The audio is safe

There is no licensed audio anywhere in the game, so nothing in it can trigger a content ID claim on your video.
